〇Guide fee (1-4 pax) 5,000JPY× 7 hours = 35,000+Meet-up fee: 4,500 in Nagasaki city = 39,500 JPY
〇Guide fee (5-8 pax) 6,000 JPY× 7 hours = 42,000JPY+Meet-up fee: 4,500 in Nagasaki city = 46,500 JPY
※Meet-up fee(Guide's transportation back and forth to the meet place)
〇Rental car or taxi-related fees: TBD price
〇Public transportation (if used)
〇Admission at each pay facility
〇Food & Drinks
〇My private car cost (parking, toll road, and fuel: if used)
My guiding rate is 5,000 JPY hourly (up to 4 pax), and 6,000 JPY hourly (5 to 8 pax), and a Meet-up fee (Guide's transportation fee back and forth to the meeting spot) is 4,500 JPY (in Nagasaki city). For example, an 8-hour tour for 4 pax costs 40,000 JPY plus 4,500 JPY; 44,500 JPY is the tour price. You pay for this when you book the tour.
Please remember you will pay for the admission of pay facilities and meals on-site.
During the tour, we might need to rent a car (5 to 8 pax) or hire a jumbo taxi (8 pax max). The rental car and taxi costs vary depending on the conditions, so my published tour price doesn't include these costs.
After the negotiation of the tour, I fix the car-related price and add this price to the published tour price so that you realize the total tour price before you book it.
You only pay the admission of pay facilities and meals on-site.
My coverage areas are all over Nagasaki, Saga, and Fukuoka Prefectures, including the remote islands of Nagasaki. But I live near Omura city in Nagasaki Pref., so far places from my house cost more Meet-up fee (Guide's transportation back and forth to the meeting place).
I work in Nagasaki and Okinawa, in two prefectures for about half a month each place. So if you intend to travel to Okinawa, visit my Okinawa account page, and check my schedule calendar of Okinawa.
You need a suitable rental car or a taxi. I can drive a rental car instead of you. When we use a rental car or taxi, You will pay all car or taxi related costs.
As for the transportation, the most suitable way is depends on the conditions, so I try to choose as you like, but I cannot promise, finally I decide the best way, please understand that.
Street track car is very convenient for moving in central Nagasaki city and cheep(one day 600JPY/pax), too. But you have to walk some distance and waste of your time. Terrain of Nagasaki city is very steep slopes, so it is not suitable for walking around, so you need to be tough physically. Roads are very narrow and crowded, not suitable for a big vehicle like a bus, and may often have traffic jams.
If we use a taxi or a rental car, we need to park somewhere, but there are no free parking areas, so please understand that you need to pay at each parking lot in cash.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Hero. He was a wealth of information and made our day fun and interesting. Highly recommend.
Thank you very much for great evaluation to me, I really appreciate it. I hope to guide you someday in Okinawa, too! Hero
Today my family of older teen girls, wife and myself had such a terrific day with Hero!! If you are lucky enough to book him you MUST do so! We went to all the best places, he drove us in his clean and air conditioned car, we went to an awesome lunch spot, and he was so flexible with our plans. He also is so incredibly knowledgeable of Japan’s history and literary knows everything there is to know about Nagasaki. You should book him quickly if there is still an opportunity!
Hi Kris, Thank you very much for the great evaluation of me. I appreciate it. I hope to see you someday in Nagasaki or Okinawa again. Best regards, Hero
We spent a wonderful day exploring Nagasaki with Hero! He was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We saw so many more sights in one day than we could ever have done on our own. Highly recommend Hero as a guide!
Thank you very much for the great review!! I appreciate it. Please enjoy your rest of trip in Beppu and wonderful time in Okinawa with your son. Hero
Despite the weather we had a great day in Nagasaki with our private guide Hero. He went out of his way to rent a large comfortable vehicle for our group of 5 and rearranged the tour to accommodate the rain. He was very receptive and flexible and had a lot of knowledge to share!
Hi Karen, Thank you very much for the great review for me; I so appreciate it. I hope to see you at some other opportunity in the future!! Hero
