I will be talking about the original World Trade Center, the attacks of 9/11, and the rebuilding effort.
My tour will bring you around the area of the World Trade Center and will include original structures-and-buildings as well as newly-built.
We will have lots of photo-ops and options for lunch.
Your hotel lobby or at the Horace Greely statue on the east side of City Hall Park
We will meet (and/or) begin at the Horace Greely statue on the east side of City Hall Park. This will be at the terminus of our spectacular Brooklyn Bridge.
This is accessible on the 4,5,6, J, and Z subway lines. It's not far from the R and W, and a healthy stroll from the 2 and 3.
This is the Little Chapel That Stood. When the collapsing towers roared around the area, the chapel withstood the ferocity without even breaking a window.
This newly-built structure has all the amenities. Food, restrooms, and seating.
Breakfast/lunch/brunch optional (or convenient for a return visit)
This firehouse was all but destroyed on 9/11 but has been rebuilt to also be a tribute center, with a memorial plaque on the outside wall.
There will be some good examples of original sites that were either reinstalled or rebuilt.
These are nearby buildings that weathered the collapses and have several memorials.
There are many sights and stops around the memorial, notably the pools which are on the footprints of the North and South Tower.
This will be the final hour.
Your own options afterwards may include the 9/11 Museum and/or the observatory at One World.

This will be only a walking tour with no transportation needed during the three hours.
You will arrange for your own arrival so your transportation fee is not included.
If you opt for a NYC bus or subway for your arrival, that will cost $2.75 each (with one free transfer, if needed).
Food, at your expense, will be available, but optional.
Fair weather is generally recommended but poorer weather works for less crowds.
Little-or-no availability in early-mid April and Christmas.
• There will be breaks for sitting-and-eating but bring comfortable walking shoes.
• New York may still require masks inside, so please bring those.
• Be prepared for the weather by considering water, hats, etc...
• If you arrive by riding public transport, you will be mixing with the locals.
